- 1 apple, peeled and chopped
- ¼ ripe avocado, mashed
- 1 tbsp Nestlé CERELAC Rice cereal

Avocado and Stewed Apple
1. Place apple in a small saucepan; cover with water; bring to the boil and simmer until tender; drain, reserving 2 tbsp cooking liquid; push apple through a sieve or blend in a food processor or blender.
2. Place ¼ cup apple puree (remaining puree can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer), avocado and Nestlé CERELAC Rice Cereal in a small bowl; add enough reserved cooking liquid to thin to required consistency.
TIP: Only 1/4 cup of apple puree is used in this recipe. Store remaining puree in an airtight container and store in the fridge or freezer for later use.
